Heather entered the event industry in 2013 when she launched Houghton Photography, specializing in weddings. Photo booths were originally introduced as an additional experience for her clients, but it quickly became clear they were creating some of the most memorable moments of the entire event.

Her family moved from New Jersey when she was just an infant, and she grew up watching her parents run their own businesses in the community. That entrepreneurial spirit inspired her to launch her own venture, starting with Houghton Photography in 2013.
As a wedding photographer, Heather was already deeply embedded in the event industry. In 2019, while taking a motivational business course, she received a suggestion that would change the trajectory of her career: add a photo booth to complement her photography services. That simple idea took off in ways she never imagined. By 2024, photo booths had completely taken over her business—so much so that she transitioned to running a full-time photo booth company.
